MEET OUR HEADMASTER
Mr. Rametti has been the Headmaster of Brighton High School since July 2017. Mr. Rametti started his career at Brighton High as an English Teacher in 2005. In 2012, he served as Principal Fellow at New Mission High School in Hyde Park. From 2013-2017, he served as Principal of the Edwards Middle School in Charlestown. He is thrilled to return to his first BPS “home” to lead Brighton High!
Mr. Rametti is a National Board Certified teacher and has taught students in a variety of contexts, ranging from co-taught inclusion classes to honors and AP courses in grades 9, 10, and 12. As a school leader, Mr. Rametti has been focused on implementing school-wide advisory programs to create stronger relationships between adults and students; data-driven instruction; and redefining the high school curriculum to increase relevance and coherence through the Linked Learning model.
Mr. Rametti is a double-eagle, graduating from Boston College with his B.A. in English and Secondary Education in 2005 and his M.A.T. in 2007. In addition, he has a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study (CAGS) in educational leadership from Northeastern University.
